no meds for yeast

I went to the dr. about 3 weeks ago and had a yeast infection. I did 7 days of terazol. When I went back this week i still had a little yeast.  The dr. said he didn't want to give me anything else since the terazol didn't work and it would probably go away on its own. I don't think so. It always takes me a couple of rounds of the cream to get rid of it. One diflucan will do the trick but can't take those.  I'm not itching and burning but have discharge and really don't  want to be with my husband if I have one. What should I do? I cut out all sweets and bread and tried some probiotics. I might to the Rephresh gel again b/c its safe during pregnancy. I'm only 13 weeks.

Probiotics are good to take when you are having to take antibiotics...they help maintain balance so you don't get things like yeast infections. The can help keep your intestineal flaura balanced and it wouldn't hurt.

Unfortunately, not only are you prone to getting yeast infections...you are also pregnant (which tends to lead to yeast infections)...and weren't you on antibiotics recently?

Does your doctor know that it usually takes a couple rounds to get rid of your yeast?

Yes he did do a swab. It always takes a couple of rounds of cream to get rid of my yeast infection. Unfortunately I'm alergic to milk and can't eat yogurt. What  about probiotics?

Did your dr mention you can eat yogurt to help the situation?  Not only will it help with yeast infections it helps prevent bladder infections.

Did he take a swab? Is he SURE it is Candida Albicans? He should do a culture and sensitivity to make sure what he is dealing with. There is another yeast besides Albicans that can cause yeast infection Albicans is so common, they treat for that...the other is treated differently.
