I am 11 week's and 2 days. First baby. I have been having some bladder problems and for the last two days I have had this strong odor (overwhelming). Is this normal? Had this happened to anyone else?

It could be a bacterial infection. Your dr can prescribed antibiotics that are safe during pregnancy.

Sometimes Being dehydrated can cause your urine to take on a strong odor, even skunk like. So make sure that you are drinking enough fluids. That being said, as a nurse, I'd always recommend getting any kind of foul odor checked out. It could be an infection, and there's no way to know unless you get your urine evaluated. Sometimes you'll have other symptoms,  such as frequency (hard to tell when you're preggo, lol) and or burning. Other times just odor. Everyone is different, so give your doc a call:)

I've had that, my husband has never noticed it but I def do. Its a change in your hormones and for myself its lasted all through my pregnancy. I bought panty liners (unscented) and vaginal wipes to use through out the day. I got unscented liners as they cause a yeast infection for me and are iritating. Its helped, I dont notice the smell much now. If you're worried ask doc to test for a uti

I had that and it developed into a uti, so I had to get meds for that. I use a ph balance wash by vagisil, found at Wal-Mart, and I've not had any issues with odors or infections since. Doc approved it since it isn't something to be used as douche anyway.

It is normal. Chalk another one up to pregnacy hormones. My doctor suggested rinsing with warm water when I am at home and it is convenient to help with the smell. I think it is a foul odor, but my fiance said he doesn't know what I am talking about anf that he doesn't notice it at all.
