Quick Question-Mucus Plug/Labor

40w1d I'm scheduled to be induced Wednesday. Just lost my mucus plug about 20 mins ago. How long does it usually take for labor to start after losing mucus plug? Or does losing your mucus plug really not mean much?

It can take weeks however most women go into labor just hours and some days after losing it! Good luck :)

It doesn't mean much, except that your cervix is ripening.  It can be hours or weeks before labor begins.
