pre-natal vitamins & folic acid pills
My husband and I are TTC and I have been taking a pre-natal vitamin since I stopped taking the BC pills at the end of Jan. Is a pre-natal vitamin enough or should I also take folic acid too. I tried looking for the folic acid pills by themselves and I can't find them. The pre-natal vitamins have 800mg in them already. Hopefully someone can get back to me and keep on send the baby dust my way. Thanks.
I take a baby asprin and just a normal prenatal plus vitamin. However my doctor wants to put me on extra folic acid only due to my age and this will be my first child.
