Can my friend get pregnant?
A friend of mine is 39 and trying to get pregnant for the 1st time. Here are her test results:
FSH 19.9
Oestradiol 66
LH (in 3 times) : 7.8 / 7.2 / 7.3
Prolactine (in 3 times) : 101 / 98 / 100
Is there any hope for her to get pregnant naturally? Would Clomide help?
Her Ob-gyn told her that an IVF would not work.

I guess he's thinking that with that high of fsh that her egg reserve would be maybe not of good quantity / quality ??
I am not sure why it would not work but she lives in France and she was denied the free IVF program that exists there because of her results. She is going to go with an egg donor in Spain... as soon as she can get the money to pay for it! In the meantime she keeps trying naturally.
Why would IVF not work? Certainly not her age, and a lot of the hormones can be given as injections. Is he saying it won't work with her own eggs?
