Hi,

you are just over 4 months pregnant, so I guess you are already past the 'risky' period and if all is going fine now likely it will continue.

Don't be stressed about your age.  A healthy 50 year old by your stage of pregnancy is probably not really higher risk than a healthy 40 year old.  The big issue was getting pregnant... and you sure did that right. Wow, you missed the first 4 months!  Guess you had so much else going on, you put it down to stress.

I reckon your hubby is somewhere looking down at you and totally delighted for you and the gift that he was able to give you....

Blessings.

Sally

They'll do an overall checkup for you.  Guess they'll do a detail ultrasound to further check your little boy.  Probably ask you how you're feeling, weight, diet, all of the general stuff.

Ask any questions you want.

Well they will go over all the future test that will be done and talk about your prenatal care up to now.  I was with a high risk ob because I have high blood pressure and had a vbac.  If you are on any meds you will talk about all of that.  They will set up a level 3 u/s to check for all the measurements and all of that.  Ask everything you can think us.  Start a list because you will forget.  oh they will take your urine at every appointment and your weight all that.  They will probably send you in for a gamut of blood work.  Good luck Nan and have fun!  oh and he will listen for the hb if it is able to be picked up you will hear it at every visit from now on.
