7 wks and 2 days but no symptoms other than sore boobs

Hi, im 38 and pregnant with my 1st child. I took a test when my period was 5 days late. I had very sore and heavy boobs for a good week at that stage and I had a feeling I was pregnant. The test confirmed thus, as did my doctor. All good so far. At Wk 5 I had a little nausea, tiredness and dull abdominal pain. I put all this down to implantation. Im now in my 7th week and still have heavy, sore boobs but nothing else. Is there anything to worry about or am I just very lucky not to be having sickness etc?? Quite worried and really trying not to be.

Contrats.

It is totally normal and nothing to worry about.

Mind you, I was so happy at 7 weeks when I had no symptoms, except the boobs, but just af ew days later nausea hit and it stayed until about 18 weeks.

We're all different.  Hope you continue to feel so good.

First off a huge Grats on your + pg. Like the other two have said, symptoms come and go. Just when I start to second guess I'm pg I start feeling symptoms quite strongly. My symptoms are usually less in the morning but as the day progresses i feel them.  I hope you have a safe and easy 9 months. All the very best.

I agree with the above poster.  Symptoms or lack of are not any indication of anything.  Some people have really strong symptoms, some none at all.  For me, they came and went.  All sounds great.  Congrats on your pregnancy!!  Wishing you a healthy happy 9 months!

no need to worry! since this is your first pregnancy then your breasts have never been through the process of lactation. they will probably feel heavy and sore for the duration of the pregnancy but what you can do for some relief is a warm cloth or bean bag pack on them or you can try 1000mg of Tylenol (completely harmless during pregnancy). And yes you are quite lucky to not be getting sick right now however don't be surprised if at any point during the duration you should become sick. most women do get sick at some point whether it be 1st 2nd or 3rd trimester!

Good luck and hope this helped!
