Thanks ladies,I'm not new to this and my husband and I were THROUGH!!(so we thought!)lol....but i've never had this happen at the 23WK Mark! And I've never been as grumpy!!! My husband swears up & down that there's more than one,but all I know is that I've craved McDonald's Parfaits forever since I've bn pregnant! I'VE NEVER EATEN YOGURT B4 THIS AT LEAST NOT HAVING MY MAN KNOW THE WORKERS ON THE GRAVEYARD SHIFT AT McDonald's! But now I found out that parfaits have 70mgs of Sodium and even the Greek has 60mgs! The Dr says 400mgs a day and to not go to far past that. I've never bn big on salt anyways but geez! Idk but TY all...yes I bet it was scary at 20wks on the beach FAR away from home & taking a shower & looking down and seeing Cankles & sausages for toes! We both flipped out & he flew me down to Walgreens to get my blood pressure checked...TY all....I feel a lot better..P.S I've noticed after I get through my day & shower that's when it usually happens then it goes bk down.

How many wks are you? I remember last time I was pregnant and and at 20wks we went on vacation the first three days all I ate was salty foods and didn't think anything of it bc that's what everyone else had. We walked the boardwalk all day and that third night my feet and lower legs swelled up like balloons. I was scared! Away from home. It was early in the pregnancy. I bought those pressure stockings from the pharmacy and wore them every night and tried to prop my legs up against the wall and it was salads and baked fish for me there on out. They went down but scared me senseless.

My blood pressure has been around that and my ob said I had hypertension so they put me on Bayer baby asprin once a day to help with it. I would speak to your ob.

At your next check up with doctor bring up your concerns. My pregnancy induced hypertension started that way and just progressively got worse....better to be informed and safe.

My best advice is to keep them up and stay off of them for a bit. Probably just have been standing or walking around a little too much or more than ur body would like at the moment. Take care.
