Just an update and a thank u to the lovely lady on here for your help and advise my beautifull baby girl is now here she was born on the 11.01.13 at 8.45pm she's called Paris aliyah. She was 9 days late and weighed 7.6lbs was in labour for 6 hours had a water birth and had only gas and air ;) Thank u all so much for our help when I needed advise ;) and good luck with your pregnancys and labours ;)

Thank you ladies this site has been amazing fell a bit sad I'm not pregnant now lol but very happy my beautiful Paris is here! Yes the water did help slightly lol still hurt though but with my first daughter I had all the drugs were as this time I only had gas and air so 2 very different experiences good luck to u xx

Congratulations! I'm planning on a water birth here in 7 weeks and 2 days. Do you think the water helped with the pain at all?
