update on my hospitalization...

hi everyone,
thanks for all the replies...you are all so sweet!!! well my doc came in and said i am here mostly for cervix  and contracting. he said i will stay here til i deliver ...due date feb 5th. geeeesh! he did the ffn this morning and it came back negative which is good. he then gave me the injection of the steroids to mature the babys lungs. i will continue my weekly progesterone shots and have cervix monitored as well as contractions...his goal is to get me to 30 weeks right now...and we will continue to do ffn every 2 weeks. i definately know i am in the right place and lucky my group is on top of everything. i want nothing but the best for my little girl...so what ever it takes!
today my husband brought up my 1 and 4 year old boys...it was great to see them! i of coarse miss them...and know its a huge strain on hubby...but hes great...no complaints...at least not to me...lol..i am blessed to have him!!! last year when this happened when i was pregnant in the hospitalized he took in the load...and he was just diagnosed with cancer during that time and even had a surgery in the midst of it all...so as of today i am calm and blessed! tomorrow another story...hahahahaha...i may have to vent...lol

thanks
tricia

Good luck, get some rest and the attention you need.  I'm sure your husband isn't complaining because he know you do an incredible job every day being a mom and wife. And the job won't be any easier when the little princess comes home.

I am so sorry that you have to be hospitalized for so long but you are in the best place for them to monitor your little girl.  I was hospitalized for 7 wks before I had my twins so I know exactly what u r going through.  I was able to have them at 34 wks so hopefully you could hold out till then.  Now I am pregnant again with twins so I hope that this time they won't try and come out early like their brother & sister did.  I wouldn't mind a few weeks early but not 6 wks early again.  Pray for me & I will do the same for you.  Good luck and keep us posted!!!

Thanks for the update Tricia.  Although I am sorry you are stuck in the hospital for so long, I'm glad you and that little one will be getting the care and attention you need. It sounds like your hubby is a trooper too!  Take it easy girl and hopefully time will fly for you!!  You know we're here cheering you on!!
