I would consult an RE (reproductive endocrinologist) You already know the chances but the possibility is still there since you are still having regular periods. You might need donor eggs but who knows. Only an RE can tell you more after some tests. Good Luck!
You could consider donor eggs. We had to resort to that. I kept having miscarriage after miscarriage (was between ages 41 and 42). We wanted to improve our chances and went that route.

You have a very very slim chance of getting pregnant at 47. Not to say that it is completely impossible, because of course anything can happen. And there are many Pollyannas that will give you hope for this, but realistically speaking you have less than 1/2% of a chance of getting pregnant. Your egg quality is the culprit and after the age of 42 you have many more bad eggs than good eggs.
Then the other problem is if you even get pregnant you have a very high chance of miscarrying. So if you do become pregnant, try not to attach your self to the pregnancy until you get out of the first trimester.
And if you are lucky enough to get out of the first trimester you have another hurdle to get through, i.e. downs syndrome. You are very high risk for down's at 47.
So i wish you the best of luck in your endeavors...it is possible, but not likely.
if you have not had sex in 2 yrs the chances of being pregnant are beyond slim.. it is impossible. my guess is that the missed cycle may be the beginning of the change of life... yup.. you may be getting ready to go through menopause.
