I am 10 wks and 5 days pregnant. Last night after passing my urine I noticed a light pink discharge on the paper. I woke up this morning and there was nothing, then I passed my stools and noticed a darker discharge. What shall I do? what does it mean? I am really worried.

Thank you very much for your reply..last nigh it turned into a period like red bleeding with mild lower abdomen pain..I had a miscarriage..went to the hospital earlier on today and had a scan and a transvaginal ultrasound.

Embryo did not develop and I passed it last night ..still bleeding..oh well I'll have to be strong and try again.lolxxx

Spotting that is brown or light pink in color is very common. I would not worry unless you have bright red bleeding. I had brown spotting with my son and he is a perfectly healthy 2.5 year old now. Brown typically means old blood. It could be left over from baby implanting in the uterus.
