5w3d miscarriage? help...

Today I went to the restroom, as I wiped I noticed I had some dark brown spotting. I wasnt cramping at all and I felt fine. I looked it up some websites thought there was nothing to worry about as long as I was not cramping and spotting at the same time.
But now about 9 hours later I am not spotting at all. I am cramping now... I think its just gas though?:/
Is this normal? Am I loosing my baby:(? please help.

Anytime you have bleeding or spotting during pregnancy, you should follow up with your ob or midwife. Spotting can be caused by many different things. Best of luck!

Some people don't always have signs when miscarrying, but in your case I would say your fine. Something simliar happened to me, at 5 weeks I had what I believed to be implantation spotting. At 6 weeks I have more brown blood and I was cramping all the time, so to ease my mind I went to the emergency room. They did an early scan and saw.that everything looked normal but still went on to diagnose me with a threatened miscarriage. Don't let that scare you tho they call any unexplained bleeding that during pregnancy. Bleeding past for a day or 2 and came back bright red and I thought for sure I was miscarrying but the doctor said don't go back to the er unless I was filling a pad an hour, which I wasn't. It was bright red but more or so just spotting. I went in for an er follow up the next day (bleeding had turned brown) expecting to hear the worst but instead heard that baby was growing right on track and they believed bleeding was caused by a subchorionic hematoma where when the baby attached it pulled away a little bit allowing blood to build up behind it. I am now 11+1 and everything seems to be going great! Seeing any amount of blood is worrysome during pregnancy but brown blood is old blood, and some women just bleed. If it concerns you that much make a doctors apt. Or go into the er to put your mind at ease! Stress is not good for the baby:)

I did this to myself too. It's probably nothing to worry about. A little blood is very normal, and your mind is probably playing tricks on you with your anxiety. As the aboves state, "you would know." It's probably nothing to worry about. I would say use your best judgement, you know your body best.

I think you're fine, when I had a miscarriage it was bright red blood, lots of it, but no cramping. I'm 30 weeks pregnant now, but when I was around 5-6 weeks I had some dark brown discharge for a while, some light pink stuff too. My midwife said it was all normal. It eventually stopped and I'm having a healthy pregnancy. Best of luck to you.

Trust me here if you was losing it you would know as the pain and bleeding is quite bad.. to the point were you would got to A&E. Sometimes you can spot during the first trimester for no reason at all. I am currently 7 weeks and i have had cramps or growing pains since i was aboutt 4 weeks and its pertfectly normal. Try not to worry but if it is a concern then please go see a doctor. Also dont read the websites as they arent always right and can worry you more. I hope this answer helps a little
