Abnormal blood flow to placenta?

I recently had an ultrasound at the hospital because the previous one noted that I had eccentric cord insertion. So I got a call with the results today and my doctor said the placenta measured perfectly fine and wasn't sitting low or anything, and my baby is measuring perfectly fine, BUT.. I had abnormal blood flow to the placenta? She told me not to worry at all because everything is looking perfect, but then what does it mean that the blood flow is abnormal? And what issues could that cause?

Anything with pregnancy causes worry lol and it doesn't stop after you have the baby I have an almost 2 year old and I still worry. Try not to stress and think about it it's one of those things that is out of your control.

It was my prenatal doctor who called to let me know those brief results, I'll be meeting with my OB from now on so I think maybe she's leaving the detailed explaination to my OB. So when I meet her in a little over a week I'm going to make sure I ask lots of questions to ease my mind. Even though my prenatal doctor told me I have nothing to worry about I am of course still worried.

I'm not sure your doctor should go over it more detailed with you and they should keep checking it. I had issues with my cervix with my first so with this pregnancy I am being checked alot. So keep asking questions until you completely understand sorry I don't have more knowledge about it.
