Thank you TxMamma I had some good news yesterday from my daughter she was told by the Chinese herbalist she went to see that after looking at her last ultra sound after she lost the baby last year that she may not be ovulating anymore and there was still lot's of cysts in her tubes, that's after the hospital saying they couldn't see any ???The good news is that my daughter did an ovulation test yesterday and it was positive so thank the Lord for that because she has a chance as long as she is ovulating so we are concentrating on the positiveness of this and hoping a miracle might happen.I will pass the message to her about the Fertility Endocrinoligist thank you. I won't blame myself any more as you said its just a thing that happens I will try hard to remain postitive Kind Regards Lara:)
I know plenty of ppl who have PCOS who's parents are not diabetic, did not take meds while preg, and whose fathers were not exposed to agent orange. I am one of those ppl. My symptoms didn't show til I was about 24. The same thing with a co-worker of mine. In order to get pregnant I saw a Reproductive Endocrinologist. Look for one there in Australia if you haven't already. They understand fertility and the PCOS so they are able to treat both. Please don't blame yourself. I think its just a thing that happens in nature.
Thank you Buggie I have looked up all about PCOS in fact it was me that found out that she had all the symptoms when she was 13 no comutors then went to the local library and looked up the symptoms myself and I took her to the fifth doctor that I had asked about the symptoms she had such as bulking up from a skinny little girl to looking like a swimmer who had been taking steriods and having pain each month and having facial hair she should not have had at that age . This was at The Royal Womens Hospital in Melbourne Australia and the professer that we saw said she looks perfectly fine to me and I said well she's not ,she was sometimes nearly collapsing when I went to pick her up after school . She was doing ballet at the time and of course weightgoing on was no no
so she was beside herself about gaining weight and that led to Bullimia four doctors treated me like an idiot and then that comment from the Professer really threw me he then said I am sending her upstairs to have an ultra sound just to satisfy you
Well the lady who did the ultra sound called me in to have a look she said she had never seen anything like it so many cysts . So I was furious the solution was according to the Professer was to put her on the pill and of course thats what I did . Buggie I also didn't say before but my husband her father is a Vietnam Veteran who was exposed to Agent Orange so goodness knows if this caused all the probs she has had . Please pray for her she is a lovely girl and the best daughter and would make a lovely mum thanks again for your reply
PS No diabetes in our family at all
Nooooooo...i have severe PCOS amd my mom didnt take that...its common in children of diabetics...my mother has quite a few cousins who are type I diabetics and my mother has type II diabetes...its along those lines. It has nothing to do with meds you did or didnt take but it is a genetic disorder that is passed on...i am preggo with daughter #2 and i am petrified i am going to pass this endocrine disorder on to them...you cant control genetics...dont beat yourself up over it. I have learned to live with it...your daughter can moat likely still have kids...i needed medical intervention to get pregnant and i need it to stay pregnant...just part of the disorder...hope this helped. You should research PCOS...lots of info out ther) on it :(
