Bleeding at 12 weeks

I am 12w 3d today, my fiance and I were intimate this morning and immediately after I was bleeding. I had a few days when I was about 6-7 weeks that I had brown blood for about 3 days. I had my first appointment at 10w and baby had good strong heartbeat. This is baby# 5 for me and I've never had a miscarriage before. I'm scared but don't want to go into the ER. I had some random bleeding at 10w and 32w with my oldest but never the others. Anyone have any advice? My fiance is trying to be supportive but he doesn't know what to do and had to go to work. He just tells me it'll be ok and we'll try again as soon as w can... all I can do is lay here and cry... advice, suggestions please... I would rather ride out out until Monday and see my doc but don't know what to do until then.

Call your obs office number and speak to the on call.  Untreated infections can cause miscarriage.  I am not trying to scare you but wouldn't you feel better knowing you are doing everything you can?  Its always better to be safe than sorry.  Yes it can be nothing but its always best to be sure.  That's why you have a dr so they can do their job and take care of I and ur baby.  Good luck.  :)

I think you're ok, your cervix is very sensetive due to your pregnancy which may explain the light bleeding and if he ejaculated inside of you that could be the cause for the cramping because I have read many times that there is s chemical in sperm which causes contractions. Some women have sex in late pregnancy to self induce or progress their labor! Also if you had an orgasm that can also cause some mild cramping. Best of luck to you!

Of course! I freaked when it happened to me too. It was way more than just some spotting. So I thought I for sure lost him. But it was only my cervix. And im sure thats all it was for you as well. :)

Thanks Mamabear! That is such a relief to hear I was thinking that it's probably just my cervix aggravated, everything I've read says the placentia is forming and can sometimes be too close to the cervix, bleeding is slowing down barely spottingand it's been a few hours and been laying on my couch so crossing my fingers thank you

Its probably from your cervix! The same thing happened to me at 12  weeks. I actually kind of started bleeding a lot! But it was totally gone the next morning. My baby is now a month old :)

Like the poster above said a little bleeding is normal but if its a little more than you feel is normal or having pains go to the er. Your motherly insticnt will tell you if somethings wrong. Im sure your hubby didnt mean to say it like that either to upset you men just dont know how to say things sometimes lol its a man thing. I wish you good luck n hope it turns out good for you.

Just makes me nervous, I'm got light cramping not as bad as menstrual cramps, I'm trying to lay down and drink as much water as I can I just don't know if there's something else I should be doing and my fiance won't admit it but I know he feels guilty now cuz it came after we had sex
