Dilating?

Can you tell when your dilating? And, can you dilate before "lightening" happens?

Yes. Engagement/Lightening are the same thing If I remember right from my Child Development Class.

Nope cant tell when you are dialating. And some women have dialated as early as 32weeks.

yes the baby will sit lwer when u dialate,

You really cant tell when you are dialating but it will usually happen during a contraction, only your dr can tell for sure if you have indeed dialated. Lighting will usually occur before dialation being that the pressure of the baby helps with the dialation process.
