Fuller Breasts, Tender Nipples, Morning After Pill

I took the Morning After Pill in the middle of April, and had a period immediately after. Since then I've had sex (unprotected) weekly and by the beginning of May I began to notice fuller breasts. They seem to have gotten more fuller since and just recently I've noticed that my nipples are sensitive to touch, and may have gotten bigger. My nipples DO NOT have any crust or discharge, and I've examined them quite a bit so, I thought the thickening of the nipples may be due to puberty since I am only 19 and can very well still be maturing. Since my my morning after pill-induced-period was in the middle of last month, my next period is not due for another few days. By the way, i took a pregnancy test a few weeks ago and it was negative, and i have not received any signs of implantation.

Can i be pregnant?

As you get older. what happens is that about a week or two before your cycle is due to come on your nipples can get sensitive, sore, and your breast can even swell.  so you may not be pregnant. But i will advise you to be careful from here on out.

I did something terrible, I had a one night stand, and the condom slipped twice, so I thought it wise to get the morning after pill. So I took that within the first 12 hours, when it is most effective. I got little side effects, however about a week later my breasts seem a bit swollen and tender to touch. I know im due for my next period in a couple of days, but just wondering if it is anything to worry about? I do get tender breasts before my period, and I think I may just be a hypochondriac. :)

Hi,
I don't think that your nipples have anything to do with puberty, since this happens earlier in adolescence.  Yes, your body is growing, but in other areas, and is pretty much finished by now.  When you have unprotected sex, if the egg was already fertilized before you took the pill, the morning after pill will not terminate the pregnancy.  It is strickly a preventative, it cannot abort a fertilized egg.  And the pregnancy test that you took a few weeks ago would most definately be negative becuause home pregnancy tests aren't really accurate until you have missed your next expected period.  And for the simple fact that you repeatedly have unprotected sex, your chances of getting pregnant are pretty high.  Wait until your period is due and take another test.  You say it's due in a couple of days, so this weekend it should probably be pretty accurate.  If you are not pregnant, you should seriously consider getting on some sort of contraception so this does not happen again until you are ready to have a child.  Good luck to you, no matter what the outcome!

Sorry for saying this, but you took the morning after pill and then continued to have unprotected sex?????  How does this make any sense??? Obviously you aren't worried about getting pregnant if you can't take the time to be protected.  Morning after pill never be used as method of contraception.

Wait until your period is due, if it doesn't come then test.  Be smart and use protection.

OK...you took the morning after pill, I assume because you didn't want to be pregnant. WHY ARE YOU HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX? To answer you...yes you can be pregnant, anytime you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant. Use protection.
