Gender confusion??
So at 13w I had an elective u/s the tech said based on 3 white dots in a triangle it was a boy, she seemed certain even though my husband and I were not based in dots anyways today I went to the er I'm now 18w I had a u/s done I told he tech that my 13w scan said boy due to the dots however the tech said tegu look for dots like that in girls and that 13w is way too early. She was trying to see the gender but the baby wouldn't let us see the sex however I saw a very clear 3 lines but it was not in potty shot it was in front like looking down on baby. So my question is have you ever been told boy early on to then find out it was a girl? Did you do a 13w scan and they said boy and it was accurate and if so was it dots? Thanks for your help?!
I had mines done at 13 weeks a had 3 lines she told me it was a girl when I went back at 20w it was confirmed that I was having a girl :)
Mine at 12 weeks I got told it was a girl and at 20 weeks confirmed it was a girl. I saw 3 little dots.
At 13 weeks I was told it was a possibility I was having a boy, and had nothing to do with dots. At that stage both male and female have a lil something there. All depends on "the angle of the dangle." This will be my second boy and have never heard anything about dots.
3Dots sounds like a girl they usually use the term lines and dots with the number 3 when referring to girls
My 12 week scan my son was lying perfectlt and i could see a penis and scrotum...i had no doubt. My first son we did not see what the dr was seeing but he saidboy and it was
My was done at 14 weeks . It was pretty clear it was a boy. We saw the package hanging in there between the legs. No dotes or anything.
Also saw boy at 14 wks and u can c clear as day that he was all boy. No dots involved. I also thought dots/lines ment girl.
Found out boy at 14w3d and you could see his penis and balls, I always thought the lines and stuff were for girls.
We'll hopefully it is a girl! I would be over the moon if it was, but if boy too I would be happy! As long as babies healthy is all that really matters!!! Thanks girls for sharing yours with me!!
I am 22 weeks now with a boy but when i had my 12 week scan I asked if they could see the gender and she wouldn't even look she said the penis and vagina can look the same at that stage. I would just wait till your next ultrasound to confirm.
At 13wks I was told a girl due to the 3dots I went back at 21wks & sure enough there was 3lines I'm having a Lil girl (:
At 13 weeks three dots indicated it was a girl at 18 weeks it was indeed a girl.
What is this dots and lines thing? I was told at 15 weeks it was a boy but i couldnt see it and im still not sure if i believe its a boy yet lol. It all looks the same
My dots were in a triangle they say it's the dreaded triangle because at 13w it can go either way.. However 2 the doc and another scan lady said that's what they look for on girls.. 3 lines always is a girl it looks like a hamburger
I was told early on that I was most likely having a boy. Well at my 20 week ultrasound they told me I'm having a girl!
