Have i had a VERY early miscarrage? 10DPO??...

Hi, i am 10-DPO but since yesterday, iv been having very very heavy bleeding, its not like me to be this heavy, although im wearing pads etc, it just keeps coming right through.. and it hasnt stopped yet. I havent taken my pill since 16/09/10 and had unprotected sex when i was ovulating on 27/09/10 and only had breast tenderness and light spotting since, so i took my pill yday to help stop the bleeding but it hasnt worked! Home tests came back neg... But could this be early miscarrage?

Just an update I took a test earlier and got a faint positive... What does this mean? I'm on my phone so can't upload a picture till I get home tonight... I'm so confused x

Ahh thanks for your reassurance ppl :-) my bodys such a mess I never know what's going on with it! I had a bizzare dream lastnight that me and my partner had a baby and where in hospital so this morning i was so heavily bleeding I was quite worried whether I had conceived and now had a chemical pregnancy.. It's better to have never been pregnant than to have been then lose it.. So I'm relieved now after ur posts.. Thank u :-)

hya hun you arent experiencing a miscarriage its a symptom of coming off the pill, you will find that your periods will be heavier and pretty irratic. The coming off the pill symptoms are very similar to being pregnant, i know this because im experiencing the same thing!

Unlikely pregnancy related.you werent due your period for another 4 days .at a guess I would agree with other its due to coming off the pill.

It doesn't sound like it. You said you've been spotting for days prior to this and cramping, and you were also unsure if you actually ovulated on the 27th. (you said you had what was considered cervical mucous) It is possible of course, but it just sounds like a late period. If it's not come for a long time, it can be quite heavy and last longer than normal. It's unlikely you'll ever actually know if you were pregnant or not.

your body may have changed due to you coming off the pill, with the test being negative and the heavy bleeding its very unlikely that you are pregnant, (thats just what I think). Hope your ok
