Missed 3 days of Metformin -- 4 weeks preggo

Just found out that I am pregnant!!  Yaay!  When I found out I stopped taking my prescribed Metformin. Just realized today that the docs want me to continue taking. I missed 3.5 days.  I am 4 weeks. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I can't call them in the am. Have anyone ever missed Metformin doses in the first trimester?  Are there major concerns w doing this?

I am currently 9 weeks and my doctor told me to continue taking it until I've completed the 1st trimester.

do u take it to keep your sugar up? if that is the case you might be able to go without the pills, and just eat a sugary treat everyday to keep it. Just a thought Congrats on the good news :)

If you haven't been bothered by not taking it I would just wait to talk to your doctor about it.

Thanks. I have impaired glucose tolerance. The Metformin helps to keep my sugars normal.

My Dr told me to stop taking it. I took it for making to much insulin.
