Sounds like heartburn try propping ur pillow up so ur head is leveled higher then ur heart
I have that sometimes. I take tumbs, but my doctor also told me I can try Rantidine (not sure of spelling) 150 mg once a day. I'm 36 weeks 2 days. I still haven't tryed Rantidine, but you can get it over the counter under s different name.
Have you tried tums or drinking milk? I woke up the other night and my throat was burning so bad because I had been eating hot cheetos. I ended up puking twice and my throat was still burning so I chewed 3 tums and drank a glass of milk. I layed back down and my throat still hurt.. But I slept it off. When I woke up I felt better.
Yeah milk is another thing. During my pregnancy so far, even the smallest glass and i'm nauseous all day. Does that mean my son will be lactose intolerant? Or is that something that just happens in some pregnancies? I do use tums. I had taco johns for dinner last night im sure the grease has something to do with it. But tums only do so much.
Hm i'm not sure.. Everyone is different so different things make people nauseous. It probably is the greasy foods. That was the first time I used tums and I agree it only did so much. My doctor told me you can take over the counter zantac also.
I'm the same way with milk, but I also get SUPER gassy, lol. I heard it's just a part of pregnancy. And I know how it feels about the tumbs. I can take 3000 mg of tumbs and still burn like there is no tomorrow. That's why my doctor suggested Rantidine.
^^ That's the over the counter name for what I was proscribed!!! Thank you!!! I couldn't think of the name for the life of me!!
You're welcome! There's also a liquid medicine that the nurse told me you can take. It's called Mylanta! There's also something called Maalox. I got this pamphlet on different medicines you can take for different things. So I was just naming them off there lol.
Well thank you ladies. I appreciate your input.
You're welcome! I hope you find something that works!
