Im 37+1 weeks and since yesterday I have been having contractions wat can I do to bring them on harder and faster?

although a pain, those contractions are doing something and that means when you do go into labour hopefully it will be straight into active labour and your labour will be shorter :)

all you need to get is the fleshy parts behind your ankle bone and inbetween your thumb and first finger and just squeeze hard or with your ankle rub up and down really firmly

I've also had this problem.  I am 38 weeks today and I have been having contractions for the past 5 - 6 weeks, about about 3 weeks ago my OB told me baby had flipped and had started to drop but my cervix was still closed and wasn't thinning yet, 2 weeks ago OB checked me and told me I was 60% effaced, baby had dropped a little more but cervix was still closed, then last week when my OB checked me he told me I was still 60% effaced but was now 1cm dilated an baby had squirmed down a little bit more still, this past Tues. when I saw my OB and he checked me he told me I was only dilated to 1.5cm and with my contractions now coming anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes apart (and many of them lasting up to at least a minute long) they are going to induce me on the 28th.  I have been doing a lot of walking, going up and down stairs, eating spicy foods, taking evening primrose oil to help soften my cervix, nipple stimulation, and even having sex and I still can't seem to get any further with it.  It's gotten to the point that I am over this part and ready for baby to be here lol.  I've been told to try certain acupressure points to help but I can't seem to find any *images* online of where EXACTLY they are so that I get the right ones.

G I hope not lol I have gone into pre term labour twice they r suprised I have made it this far

I have contractions for the last 6 wks of my pregnancies that wake me up and are timeable but after 2-3 hrs they stop, but when I do finally go into labour I go straight into active labour, so your body maybe doing something similar :)

OMG if you find out please let me know! I swear I've tried everything to get them to come closer together and nothing has worked for me!
