So many dang contractions...

Im on meds and bedrest for preterm labor and for the past....6 hours ive pretty much had 6+ contractions and hour, 8 at most. He told me to come in if i had six an hour, but they arent progressively getting stronger or closer together... my meds arent working. And occausionally i get a sharp pain in my utetus itself that i haven't had before...any suggestions

I would call your dr to be safe. Also make sure you are well hydrated as that can make contractions worse.  Good luck.

How many weeks are you? I'd go in and ask to be monitored so they can get an accurate picture of your contractions.

I would definitely go in. Leave it too long and it may be too late to stop. Better safe than sorry!
