Stretching/Pulling sensation in stomach at 10 DPO?

I have heard of others post that they had a stretching or pulling senation in their stomach prior to getting a BFP.   I was wondering if anyone could confirm this and tell me what it exactly felt like.  I have had some strange fellings in my abdominal region and I will try to describe them:

My lower stomach (below my belly button) feels tight and sometimes, when I move a certain way it feels like I am having muscle cramps or a stabbing sensation.  The cramping/stabbing senation is isolated on one side and like I said only happens when I move a certain way.  

Just wondering if this could be related to pregnancy or if I am just hoping - Thanks, Karen

BTW this stabbing pain is happening right now and I am not moving - It isn't unbearable by no means just crampy feeling, right now it is consistent.

Well... it sounds like you pulled something. most women don't get it until they're at least a month or so along. I didn't feel it until about 8-9weeks. I'm 15 now and feel it all the time.

i know what you mean, i have the same feelings in my stomache its been 2 a couple of weeks now!! i know i didnt pull anything

I have had this and im two days late now. I have also had some orangey/red stuff when i wiped yesterday and today i have a small bit of blood but not enough of it to be my period yet im also getting period pains like cramping, stretching, pulling but AF hasnt quite reared her ugly head yet!

i have just got my BFP and ever since i ovulated i have had a dull, heavy feeling in my stomach with the occasional cramp, much like AF cramps though so it can be really confusing.  All i can say is that although the waiting is really horrible and fustrating it really is the only way to know for sure.  Hold on and test in a few days - good luck

I tested this morning and got a very very very very faint BFP - I plan on retesting on 3/26 and I am praying for a darker line!  I hope so or I will be very disappointed. Just thought I'd update everyone!

i know it may be a lil early to congratulate you but it was a faint line the best of luck to you and lots of very sticky baby dust to you when you retest and if by chance its not what you hoped dont feel disappointed i know its hard not to but theres always next month many woman feel like this as i do but i try to stay positive dont let it get you down my dear :)

Thanks!  Where are you at in you cycle?  Are you still experiencing the cramping?

well on the 13th i had pink spotting only when i wiped, the next day i had experianced brown like discharge it was not a period what so ever and it came a week early my period never came, i took a hpt over a week ago bfn but im still experiancing the pulling sensation through out the day, i did some research online yesterday about the pulling sensation during early pregnancy and its very common and is considered a symptom for most women

thank you so very much :) i was going to test this morning but i had to pee soo very bad and didnt have time to get my hpt soo ill proly test in the morning, cuz id rather use the morning pee to make my chances of a bfp higher lol sounds crazy i know but i want this so very bad :)

No it doesn't sound crazy.  I tested this morning with first morning urine and it was so very faint.  I know that if I tested any other time it probably would have been a BFN.  I would definitely wait.  Good luck and keep me posted!

that would be soo very kool if we were both pregnant had were due around the same time lol i will definetly keep you posted, oh and i just wanted to let you know that if your not taking folic acid now would be a good time to start i read that takin folic acid before and during early pregnancy will help your baby grow heathy it helps with the spinal cord and the brain takin it reduces the chance of having birth defects up to 70 percent

Thanks! I have been taking prenatal vitamins, but just the OTC kind. My ob/gyn prescribed me some and no I have to make a trip to  CVS to get the script filled.

I've been having a really weird tight/stretching feeling as well its very low.... like prob. right where you underwhere line runs across your lower area.. I wear low rise so its about 2 1/2 inches below my belly button!!! w/ a extra warm crampy feeling.... I hope I get a faint line when I test!!!

That's about what I had.  I couldn't describe the feeling, but I knew it wasn't normal at all and now I know why.  Keep us posted and hope you get a BFP!

i took a hpt this morning and it was negitive not even a faint line what so ever, i just had thought i was i was so sure i was ,and now im just baffled to say the least

sorry to hear about you BFN!  If AF hasn't showed in a couple of days, I would test again!  I hope to hear good news soon!
