Thank you so much for your post, Ill keep you posted. Im going to see him again Saturday. I hate this being apart from each other, but in order for us to have a life this is what has got to happen for the next 4 months. im praying that this go around it does happen, I haven't been feeling all that well for the past couple of days, dont know. It could be all in my head as i said before or something else. As far as the af goes I had seen the doctor, they thought that I might have had PCOS, but I dont. It has something to do with my accident that I had back when I was 14, cause ever since then its been a guessing game, like I said they tried to use the birth control to regulate but it just made me sick. So im hoping that indeed this go around that things are good. If not keep on trying, lol. But ill keep you posted on what the outcome is..
thanks again.
Hi there,
I am ony giving you info from my personal experience as I had a cycle started just 1day before you and stopped on the 28th July. I too have weird/unpredictable cycles so this is what I have found with me this time round...on the night of the 8th August (cd16) I had EWCM so early on the morning of the 9th we bd...(we did a few days prior and after but lets just keep it simple for example only)...now given that I actually o'd (I am only guessing I did cause usually I dont but the ewcm kinda made me think otherwise) I would need to count 14days past the 9th for my early time to test which would be 23rd Aug (14dpo). Yesterday (11dpo) I had a tinge show on the toilet paper which I am hoping is late implantation.
Now in comparing to your dates/timing etc my concern is that you hadn't bd enough and certainly not knowing when next cycle is due personally my advise is that you really need to start bd at cd 10-18 every other day. Testing 2 weeks ago would definately been too early as if you had a standard 28 day cycle that would be the text book 14th day and should of been ovulating not testing postitive. Your earliest if you were a 28 day cycle would not be until the 21st Aug..today. If I had misread your post and you did infact bd between cd 10 & 18 then from about monday next week I would test again and then if BFN test again the next week...if still BFN I would then see a GP cause even though you say you are ok to get preggers, you aren't actually getting preggers and there must be a reason and not having a af for months at a time sometimes is not 'normal'. I have PCOS and I don't have af for months on end sometimes and then sometimes it is right on time...but then even tho I have a af I don't ovulate so my chances are very slim to near impossible. Just a thought and bit of info you may be able to use. Best of luck and lets hope we both get our BFP this month! Trudy x
Well the having sex part is not an issue with us. We had been checked out the both of us before and his sperm count is ok, and im great on my end. Its been over a year trying and no luck, its starting to feel like its never going to happen. I was put on birth control to regualte my periods before but it made me sick so I had to stop. So im back to not knowing when aunt flow is going to vist. Its a back and forth cycle. I did the test strips to test my ovulation before but kinda got tired of doing that, or i simply forgot. I think I thought let nature take its course, and just stopped trying but still in the back of my mind still trying. So we just simpy went back within that year of trying, about 5 months trying, and the rest of the time, letting it just happen phase. We got to talking about this and we really want to have a baby. So back to trying, Im just wanting to know when is a good time to test again wait another week? cause once I again I have no clue when ill have another period. I took one two weeks ago. So do I try another test, because I have been feeling a little under the weather, I have to pee all the time so that really is not a helpful clue. But it could be all in my head or something else.
Consistency is important when trying to have a baby. There are ways to find out when you ovulate, even if you're irregular. You can be aware and observant of cervical mucous changes throughout your cycle (my rule is to have sex ANYTIME you have cervical discharge. You'll notice it when you use the restroom). Or BBT. If you use both methods you increase your chances of pinpointing ovulation.
If you have an ovulation issue, or your husband has a sperm issue then timing sex properly won't really matter. Those issues need to be dealt with by a doctor.
Also, remember it can take 6-12 months to conceive, in a normal and healthy couple.
