Take the antibiotics, the infection poses more risks than the medication
I didn't know I had a uti, and it eventually turned into a kidney infection. I was sent to the hospital with a 103.6 fever. the hospital admitted me & I had to get bags of medication, (not regular iv fluid, bags of antibiotics) & steroid shots to help out my daughters lungs just in case the infection caused preterm labor, I was on my 26 weeks. uti and kidney infections can get bad very quickly, you can take those meds and just cos it says it has side effects, doesn't mean you'll experience them
Sorry to hear that.I wish you well on your recovery!:-)
I take keflex. And I need to change them :(
My doctor had me on ammoxacilin. You can also drink cranberry juice to help ensure you don't get another uti.
Right here . Messed up part is I found out too late and now I have a kidney infection :/ I was just hospitalized like a week ago and was there for 5 days . Now I'm considered " high risk " I found out I had the infection cause I went in the er for horrible right back pain and had a fever of 108 and turned out the back pain was due to kidney infection .
Their Nitrofurantoin Mono.Side effects are mild diarrhea, nausea, loss of appetite and headache :(
I had to take mine 3 times a day for 10 days then once a day. And it still didn't work so she changed them and I had to take them 3 times a day for 5 days and now one a day for the remainder of pregnancy. You won't overdose hun! What's the antibiotic your on? The one I'm on causes lost of appetite so I need to get them changed. I am never hungry :(
I had a uti n didn't know either very common I still took my prenatals but I had the gummies
I did and also had no symptoms I got prescribed some antibiotics and it cleared up x
I forgot to ask my doctor but do i take my prenatals and the antibiotics as prescribed?Dont wanna OD...lol.I have to take the antibiotics twice daily.
Uti and yeast infections are very common during pregnancy.
Wow i hope it clears up soon hun,i will most def be taking the antibiotics.
Oh and they are very common in pregnancy and very dangerous so make sure you are taking your antibiotics
I did when I was 10 weeks, the antibiotics are safer to be on then what the uti could do for your baby!
Me :( I didn't have any symptoms either and ive had this since my second visit. I'm almost 27 weeks now abs have to keep taking antibiotics till the end bc it won't go away.
