with me i walked up and down 18 flights of steps til i felt more and more pressure in my pelvis and that night her came my son lol.. im not sure what it was but thank god it worked
you use a needle thread and a pencil and put them together http://community.babycenter.com/post/a21211517/boy_or_girl_pencil_trick_just_for_fun
None have been true for me. Im carrying high and it's a girl. She also has a lower heart rate and usually that means boy too. And none of that stuff they say brings on labour works. Im now 40+6. I've tried it all. Sex, castor oil, raspberry leaf tea, bouncing on the ball and the bumpy car ride. And they even tried a sweep. Being induced next Wednesday early morning.
I had heartburn and he has tons of hair.
Baking soda test was right for me, and the ring test.
Ya with my first two they were boys n i carried low n pretty much most tales were true n now third one are all girl symptoms but its another boy so dont believe the tales anymore lol
Lol for months I slept facing east with a wooden spoon under my pillow in hopes of having a girl. I got my girl, but I seriously doubt it was anything I did! This time I have a boy, and I couldn't be happier
The only wives tale thats been true for me is when you have heart burn then baby's gonna have hair. As for gender related ones, Ive carried high with all my munchkins and have had 1 girl out the bunch. This one, however, likes to hang out low like in the pelvic region despite my tummy being up high.
Wives tales are just wat they are..tales. none seem to work for me besides there is always a 50/50 chance. Sorry for being cynical but thats how i see it.
Some were true for me! I carried extremely high and I'm having a boy. His heart rate was always in the 140's which is lower- but the heart rate has so many factors and is more scientific than "high heart rate=girl, low heart rate=boy". The father and I had almost no hair when we were born, so I'm expecting my little man not too either, which would make sense because I've hardly had heartburn at all this pregnancy. I've also preferred to lay on my left side, right boob bigger than the left, father didn't gain any weight, no horrible morning sickness which I guess are all wives tales to have a boy! When I found out I was pregnant, I just felt like it was a boy and didn't even consider it to be a girl.
Haha kind weird but interesting :)
A few have been true for me like being pregnant with a girl she steals your beauty and also sleeping more on your right side.
What do you mean by "pencil trick"? I'm having my first baby and I'm due October 6th. And I find wives tales interesting.
That's a good question the ones I've tried have like If your belly resembles a ball its a girl or a watermelon its a boy. And the pencil trick.. other than that I'd love to know too
