I'm 37w 6days. Thursday I had contractions on and off (cramping and tightening). Friday I go to my appointment the doctor tells me I'm 4cm and paper thin. I had some more contractions Friday and some Saturday still nothing regular. Sunday I had some contractions that woke me up. At one point I thought my water broke, not a gush but underwear was wet. So we we went to l&d, it
If nothing else, chances are that you'll have a speedy delivery when the time does come! I was only dilated by 1/2cm when I had a sweep done on thursday, I woke at 1.30am on friday and when the midwife checked me at 3am I was at 5cm, my son was delivered at 4.18am! When your 'real' contractions kick in, you probably wont take long to deliver! Good luck to you :)
Thanks I Will try the jumping jacks and the squats. It just ***** wondering could today be the day or tonight. I'm trying not to stress. The doctor told me as soon as they become regular or my water breaks I need to call and go straight in.
I was at a standstill after my water broke with my first. It was the big gush doctors say hardly ever happens. I was at two cm and 50% for 24 hours after my water broke and I was started on pitocin after 8 hours. I couldn't do anything else to hurry things along bc my water had broken. I feel your pain, though. Good luck!
do jumping jacks.. no joke.. your water will break more than likely if you are 6cm. Do them then go for a long walk and do squats... excersise for the day and baby is sure to come. good luck!
Honey, I know exactly how you feel. I am at a complete stand still with mine as well. It's completely frustrating. Good luck to you hopefully you can see your little one soon.

It was just part of mucus plug. Anyways he checked my cervix again and I was 6cm and I'm 95% effaced. He sent me home since my contractions were not regular.
Im just so uncomfortable now!! Iv had a few contractions today, but less then the past few days.
It's like,labor is at a standstill. Anyone else experience this or know anyone who has??
He wants to schedule an induction at 39weeks If nothing happens by my appt Fri.
