..idk why some people complain about everything, a girl I work with is only 8 weeks pregnant and already is complaining and saying she's going to start drink Castro Oil starting at 29 weeks(apparently she heard the lungs were developed then)..she was high today when she came in like you could smell it -.- we work in a nursery, like sjmhe refuses to stop drinking and smoking(she said its her body and her baby and it cant hurt the baby.. her and her bf fight constantly about the fact she needs to stop). She doesn't care about what happenstance to her baby it's really sad.. I only have 3 1/2 left and I don't even complain like this or try to make my baby come, or ever did anything during pregnancy that I was told would harm the baby.. its just so sad.

If you knew whowho her doc was you could call and say you were a close friend worried about her and the baby. They will test her and threaten social services if its positive for anything.

She can get in trouble for child put her child in danger while in the womb especially since she isn't seeking help to try and stop. Does she not realize the fatality rate preemies have? I would find some research on the net and give it to her.

That is CHILD abuse in an awful for. The baby isn't here yet and she's already putting it thru hell. I'm glad you are doing good and not trying to rush your baby out. Maybe you could print some information on the dangers of what she's doing to her baby from the internet? So so sad.

That's so selfish! Stuff like that really makes me mad.  If you can't give up certain things while you are pregnant for the sake of the child, then you don't deserve that baby when it is born.  I hope they test her and take the baby away when it's born. If i have to give up cold meat on a sandwich then she sure as H.E.L.L needs to give up smoking and drinking. lol
