Can any explain to me what contractions feel like ?? My doctor keeps asking if iv had any and I dont think I have but this os my first pregnancy so idk

I've been getting false labor contractions a lot as well as braxhicks, my midwife told me the braxhicks you will feel on the top of your belly, for me it's like the feeling of tightening my abb muscles, where as the contractions are at the bottom of your belly and for most women they start out feeling like period cramps with minor back aches, so far that info has helped me a lot :) just waiting for labor!

This is my second baby and trust me when I say you'll know when they start coming.. I'm noticing more early on this time around because I've been through it already but it feels like a cramping or an all over tightening feeling in the belly the best way I could describe is when you go on a roller coaster and your stomach tightens up, that tightening feeling in your stomach without the butterflies

My friend said hers felt like she was getting stabbed lol..

I feel my belly get tight but sometimes idk of its just from her moving or not.

Sometimes you can't tell. Everyone's contractions are different, I only had belly tightening my belly felt like a rock every 5 mins apart.
