court and my newborn?

I have to appear in court to finish my dissolution of marriage,  and was granted my motion for continuance until 3wks after my EDD. The judge wont grant another, and since it is an uncontested, self represented case I cannot have an attorney appear for me. It is 6hrs from where I reside and in the middle of the week so I will have to make the trip on my own with my daughter.  Will they give me problems about having my newborn there with me?

Thanks mommas :) bf just decided he will have to shut the company down for 2 days and go, but even then I think him and Tymber should probably wait in the lobby. I was just hoping he wouldn't have to lose 2 days of work. At least it will be over soon, and we can completely move on

Aww, that's horrible... Like you, I wouldn't consider leaving my newborn. Can you not contact the court, explain that is a difficult enough time as it is, and you are not able to leave your brand new newborn without her mummy for the whole day. If they can't help, can you not take the baby and a family member or friend with you? That way, you will only leave her for the very brief court appearance. Wishing you all the best x

^^ I agree.  They are not going  to allow you to bring your baby to court. Can you find a babysitter for the day or have someone ride down there with you and sit in the car or lobby with the baby until you are done. Sorry and good luck

You should not have a newborn in there with you. You cant find one friend to come along? They may have a problem because newborns tend to cry a lot... Im not sure.. sorry you have to go through all of this at once ):
