Mine used to get like that, what kind of soap do you use in the shower? I discovered mine were getting dry and peeling and getting itchy from the soap I was using as soon as I changed soaps it stopped, maybe that u will help.

The peeling is normal. Just keep them moisturized, scrubbing it won't help bc it's going to peel regardless.

To answer the question lanolin oil works it heals cracked , dry and sore nipples. If breast feeding it's safe for baby while it's applied and if your nipples are sore from breastfeeding it helps. The Dr gave me tons of little sample packets you can get it from Walmart or any drug stores in baby section

The black little things is colostrum leaking... scrubbing these off will not hurt at all. At first I genuinely thought my nipples were changing colour but don't worry about peeling it off :)
