yeah, i wish they would just say come in and we'll check but in this hospital even if your bleeding they tell you to stay at home untill it gets severe... i had such horrible experiences in this hospital but its the only maternity hospital anywhere near where i live, supposed to be the best in ireland, but its just so busy all the time that the staff have too much on their hands to care, which is no excuse but what can you do
I think being pregnant is hard enough, I can't imagine going through it after miscarriages, I've never had a miscarriage and am terrified of incompetent cervix, watch out for spotting, that's another symptom of incompetent cervix, but at this stage it's pretty normal to get the uncomfortable pressure, if it gets too bad go into the er (since I don't think you can go to l&d until 20+ weeks, but every hospital is different) it might make you feel better for them to check you and see that your cervix is still long and closed, if it puts your mind at ease that's all that matters!
i was just wondering with your miscarriages did you find a cause to help your pregnancies to progress or just lucky babies? :)
thankyou everyone, i called my doctor and shes on leave for a few weeks, so i called the maternity hospital and they said it should be ok, only to call up if it gets any worse.. im just afraid that if its an incompetent cervix and by the time it gets worse it'd be too late or something.. being pregnant after miscarriages is so hard!
I have had seven early miscarriages now have a one year old n 29 weeks pregnant n i always had the pressure they told me it was fine good luck
im also 18weeks i feel pressure alot my ob says im fine
I had a LOT of pressure between 12-20 weeks..it almost felt like it was vaginal and rectal pressure, and it was the increased blood flow down there. I would call your doctor and mention it to him since you have a history of miscarriage, at this stage it's not miscarriage that's a concern but preterm labor, so call and let them know you're worried, you'll get checked and feel 100x better, trust me!
I'm not sure sorry, I would defo speak to ur doctor to get checked. good luck
My lil girl is low and it always feels like pressure like she is going to fall out lol Im 21 weeks
somebody write back, freaked out!
