heartbeat at 7w2d

Just curious on how many ladies on here seen a heartbeat at 7w2d? My first appt is Friday n I'll be 7w then n i'm so ungodly nervous that I won't see a heartbeat. I know I shouldn't worry it just makes things worse, but I can't help it. I've been reading way too many miscarriage stories on here n it just scares the crap out of me lol. Its my first too so not sure what to expect Friday!

They might do one so they can get the measurements of your uterus and make sure the baby is growing okay and is in the right spot and other important stuff. If not, they will probably make an appointment for you to have one soon.

Yeah i'm not even sure that they will give me one. But this worrying is just killing me. Lol I think its just because I have been waiting almost a month just to get in for my first appt and I have had way to much time to think about things! Ugh. Ty ladies! (:

I seen the heartbeat on my first US at 7 weeks and 1 day. It's kinda hard to see it, but it's just like a little tiny flicker of light, like really really tiny. The US tech may have to point it out to you.

I heard one at 6 weeks via transvaginal ultrasound, but I wouldn't worry if you don't, a lot of people don't that early. A lot of times they also don't give ultrasounds that early, I had one at 5 and 6 weeks because I was bleeding.
