I had hemorrhoids after my DD was born and I just used a spray they gave me for discomfort and itching along with the stitches. I am now 20+4 with my second and have had external with straining from constipation, I read that it was safe to use vaseline to help with discomfort and problems going to the bathroom, they went away after a couple days using that. Also soaking in a nice warm bath for about 15-20 minutes helps!

EEEMMM. With hemmoroids its hard to say. When you go into labor you dont want old hemmoroids because the pressure of pushing my cause them to erupt. Try to soothe and calm down the old ones by hot water rag comprssions and witch hazel pads.

Hemmroids are a common pregnancy complaint.  They are essentially vericose veins.  They may burn, itch, and bleed a little, or cause no discomfort at all.  Witch hazel wipes are a great natural way to treat them.  They are safe whole pregnant and can relieve much of the discomfort.  You can get them at any pharmacy, or superstore.
When you go into labor they can get worse because when you push, it'll create more pressure.  If you get them you get them.  They aren't dangerous, just annoying.  They usually recede after a while, but if they do not, you either live with them (which most people do), or you can have them surgically removed.  The surgical route is usually only taken when they are very VERY bad tough. :-)
