lost mucus plug
I'm losing my mucus plug. And besides it being gross what does it really mean? Last night I thought I was in labor for 8 hours and my cervix never dialated...? So I got sent hime from l and d. But now this? Does this mean I am starting labor? I'm a ftm and my mom never lost her plug or anything with me.
I actually have the same question as you! I just lost mine today, but I am 2 cm dilated as of 34 weeks and 100% effaced (i'm 37 weeks now so I may be more dilated, and I also had a cerclage that was removed this past thursday.. I was told you don't need to go to L and D just bc you loose you're plug.. it doesn't mean you are in labor, rather that labor may be close (within a few days or at most 2 weeks) of course it depends how far along you are bc it does regenerate if you loose it too early..
