need support

I'm not handling this well at all. 6 weeks today and I can't eat anything, crackers and bread and some lemon water.....im depressed and I feel like I will never be the same... I thought I would be stronger then this but I feel awful. Mostly it's the nausea that is affecting me. I feel useless and sad....I wish I could just imagine how lucky I am, but I can't seem to think positively.

It will eventually get better hun! Just take it easy and keep to what you can eat without getting sick. We've all been there and we pulled through those early days, you can make it too :)

You will be ok! A few Weeks of nausea in exchange for a beautiful baby!. I know its hard, I couldn't even step foot in a car, eat, drink, and a lot of times stand up quickly. It truly is HORRIBLE to always feel like crap, but you will make it. Keep hydrated cause then the nausea won't control your day as bad.

Try tomatoes soup. That was the only thing that I could keep down. You can make it. It doesn't last forever :)

I really feel for you. I had terrible ms for the first 12 weeks. Constantly retching and vomiting. I even had to replace all my make-up because the smell made me sick. It was awful. I found sucking on mints helped a little but not always. It will pass.... I am 32 weeks now and haven't suffered since. I felt exactly like you at the start and wondered what I'd let myself in for!!

You could try the travel sickness bands... I know some people find them really good and they are totally safe.

Peppermint tea :) or just peppermints in general. I felt the same exact way up until this week (12 Weeks) so just remember that there is an endin sight!

It's a normal feeling. I had HG and spent my entire pregnancy vomiting with constant nausea. It's definitely depressing and seems like it won't end, but it does. Just take it one day at a time and don't look too far ahead. Fluids are most important, so make sure you're drinking plenty of water. If you're not able to even keep that down you need to be seen - there are medications they can prescribe that can help.

Everyone's right! I know it feels like a never ending thing but I felt the exact same way .. I couldn't even keep water down and had to go to the er a few times for IV fluids. Being dehydrated makes the nausea worst. I lived off peanut butter sandwiches when I could keep them down.. something to throw up is better then nothing in your belly. nothing seamed to help but jolly ranchers as strange as that sounds would ease it slightly. I tried a number of meds from the Dr and the one that helped me the most was promethlezine (sp?)
Goodluck sweetie just remember there's an end to it and ur precious gift will be worth it in the long run

I would be less nauseated if I got up and ate first thing in the morning. Just a tip....
