pregnancy acne and home remedies

I have read up on acne while pregnant and I've only found a few things. They have the common sense things like do not pick, washed twice a day, if you have oily hair wash everyday, rinse with warm water, and avoid some medications and over the counter products because they can be harmful to the baby. I have not found any home remedies on how to treat acne naturally. About the only thing that I have found is coconut oil but I do not know where to get it. I have been getting acne on my belly also so does anyone have any rituals or treatments at home that they do that works good for them?

As long as you moisturize, the stretch marks will be faded. I think I'm going start using the coconut oil just to hydrate my skin. I hope the tomato pulp helps lol.

thanks ladies i actually already wash with lemon jus almost on a daily basis, but I could try the tomato paste. It can't be that bad I've had a banana facial mask before lolI just like a natural a lot more because I know what is in my products. You can prevent stretch marks to an extent but that's basically preparing your skin to stretch without so much damage. Because that is what causes the stretch marks when your skin stretches it breaks the skin cells and causes the skin to be damaged and well stretched. so there are some things that can help with stretch marks and to help prepare your skin for the change. Olive oil is a well known remedy that helps your skin transition as the baby grows and your skin stretches. you may not be able to completely prevent them but you can sure cut them back :)

I just read a couple things.  Coconut oil may help with stretch marks, so that's good.
For acne, squeeze some lemon on a cotton ball and apply it your face.  The acidity dries the bacteria.  Same goes for tomato pulp. Mush up a tomato and use it as a facial mask. If you mix apple cider vinegar with water and apply to your face,  it should help. Again,  it's about the acidity that kills the bacteria.  I hope this helps!

I hear ya. There are acne creams you can use that are safe,  but you need to make sure they don't have certain ingredients. Your doctor might be able to suggest stuff for you. I like the idea of going natural too though :) not sure if it'll help with stretch marks..I was actually thinking about that myself. However, I honestly havent done anything about mine.  I kinda just let them be lol. I know other ladies on here use bio oil and vitamin e for stretch marks. Unfortunately you can't prevent them, but you can use vitamin enriched lotions to stop the itch and to tone your skin.

thank you I'm willing to try anything natural and non harmful. I've heard before the coconut oil works because it has auric acid and capric acid. Organic coconut oil is naturally antibacterial, antiviral, anti fungal, and antimicrobial so thats what helps clear you up. cant you use it for Stretch Mark Prevention or am I thinking of something else?

I bought coconut oil at walgreens. I had a rash from work,  used it and it cleared up the rash. Toothpaste will dry out the pimples and get the gunk out. Just put dabs of minty toothpaste on the pimple and leave it over night. It should help!
