swimming in chlorinated pool

Is it ok to swim in a chlorinated pool?? I'm 34+2 and I love going into the pool it relieves so much pressure, I keep forgetting to ask my doctor and on Friday my grandma told me not to because of parasites but I thought that was like in river, lake, or still water? Should I continue to swim?? It's in an apartment pool

The only time you shouldn't is if you think, or know, that your membranes have ruptured (i.e., your water has broken). Enjoy!

Swimming is a recommended form of exercise during pregnancy I have with all of mine the only reason some doctors tell you not to is because someone could kick you in the tummy or something like that but just be careful and use sunscreen. I know how you feel I live in Texas also and had my first child in early October so I was huge all summer.

Ok yay I didn't wanna give the pool up that's my best friend right now! It's so hot in Texas and being pregnant during the summer is not fun especially this far along.

I don't think theres any worry about chlorinated pools.  The chlorine kills any kind of ick that might get introduced.  Plus most tap water is chlorinated slightly, so you're already bathing and drinking it.
