threatened miscarriage

I was told yesterday at the er that I have a threatened miscarriage because I had some pinkish blood only wheni wipe & mild cramping & they also said I was measuring almost a month behind 6w 3d when according to my period I should be about 10w they said they found nothing in the sac when I had an ultrasound & no heart beat. I have since then not had any spotting but I am having some pains in my lower back. Could I actually be miscarrying?

They said I was having a threatened miscarriage at 5 weeks & there isn't a visable heartbeat that early anyway. They say that when they can't find the cause for what's wrong I am now 23 weeks with a healthy baby boy don't stress it much

The dr at the er pretty much made it sound like I was miscarrying when I'm not bleeding at all just cramping some... This is going to drive me insane my fiance is so upset... Its so hard for me not to stress about it when that's all I can think about before bed... Ugh... :(

I would go to your Dr and have them do an ultrasound and see what they say

Did u do a blood test? If so go back in a week to check if the hgc levels went up

I had that happen at the begining of my pregnancy. I went to the ER twice. In my 2nd month with heavy bleeding. The second time the nurses all scared me because they kept talking about miscarriages and I will be Ohkay if I plan to try again. .. I was but on bed rest for about 3 month. There was a small tear in my sac. That caused the bleeding. But I . Ate healthy and not too much activities( which was a bummer) but I am now 30 weeks with healthy baby boy on his way :)

Don't stress too much and always stay positive! Keeping positive is the best way. Hope everything goes good for you && Bby.

They told me that when inwas 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant.  And I cried so hard but had faith and just stayed hopeful and 8 weeks came around and had another ultrasound and his heart beat was very strong. My son is now one and very healthy and strong. Stay strong and just believe. No stress:)

They told me the same when i went in the first time and now im 28 weeks with a healthy little girl. Sounds like you just had some implantation spotting and the cramps are totally normal. They just would rather have you ready for the worst cause you are so early. I think everyone is considered a threatened miscarriage till like week 8

I had that at 5 weeks worried to death went to hospital and they said they think it's a threatened misscarry they sent me for a scanand iI was actually carrying twins, unfortunately I lost one twin but still carrying one healthy baby at 24 weeks unsure of sex as didn't fins out chin up everything will work it's self out

I had that at 5 weeks coz I had a blood patch and they said it was a threatened miscarriage but it was because j had a failed twin,  there was no heartbeat then but I had another ultra sound at 6 weeks n there was the heartbeat, they put me a week behind aswell, I'm now 14 weeks and everything is fine with one little baby. It's just matter of waiting which is horrible I no.
