thank you i was jsut concern cause you know once you get prego they are all like don't take this and don't takethat  and certain medical problems can make it hard to have a baby or increase the baby's chances of not being fullyhealthy . so thank you you have eased my mind.

I have Hashimotos as well and have been around the block on that one.  I had 2 kids before I was diagnosed and it was way easier once I was being treated to both get pregnant and deliver the baby.  I am taking Armour Thyroid which is a natural thyroid medication made from pig thyroids (still perscription though)--it works WONDERS for hashimotos and is more natural, but that's beside the point.  As long as you are being treated correctly, it is completely safe to have a baby.  If you are hypothyroid, it can take longer to conceive and hyperthyroid can sometimes have the same effect.  So, it is BEST to take your meds.  Thyroid meds don't cross the placental barrier from what my doctor told me.
