Round ligament pain is normal pregnant pains tho & shouldn't last long  , more so when getting up and or moving positions . But 2nd trimester is when that comes and you are 28 weeks .
But if it's a more consistent pain then I doubt it's that ,  theirs pre eclampsia , pre - term labor , just you know your body and how bad your discomfort level is .

Could be round ligament pain,  contact your Dr if the pain becomes too intense, my best advice would be to fo to the ED. Best of luck

I get bad pains a lot but everything seems to be going well from when I see Dr , from cramps , to dizziness , fainting , back pain you name it , I even was pouring out blood like " pouring "  bright red ! I was so scared I thought for sure that was the end :( of course for that i ran straight to the hospital .

Just tell your doctor at your next visit to be safe if your apt is like a month away still & you can't wait  then call your Dr office in morning talk to nurse and Dr may want you to come on in to check you out ,  but pains are apart of being pregnant , long as it's not insane pain to where you can't take it or other signs of possible complications . . If so then maybe a trip to the hospital .
hope you feel better ;) !!

Call your dr. or call the emergency room if you are that worried. They will ask you a few questions to determine if you need to be seen or not.  Good luck & how all is well!
