Burning in stomach. It's so bad and I've been burping up stomach acid. How can I get rid of this feeling it hurts!!!!!

I take zantac. My doctor says omperazole is safe too. Life changer! Don't take too many Tums. The extra calcium will make you constipated.

Same thing happening with me - mostly waking up in the middle if the night with stomach acid in my mouth and throat.  My pharmacist said to take Zantac and he said off brand was fine so I paid $4 for a bottle at Wal-Mart - life changing difference,  No more waking up in the middle of the night with problems.  He said to still take tums for instant relief because the pills take a little while to kick in.

I been experiencing the same thing for awhile and found out that my gallbladder isn't working properly and is very inflamed... had to get a ultra sound on my gallbladder and been trying to eat differently and its helping.

I have really bad acid. Probably not as bad as yours but I've thrown up in my mouth more times than I want to think about... milk, coffee, tea, citrus fruit, eating, not eating make it worse. I don't know how you're drinking milk with acid like that... tums, a whole industrial sized lot of it has been my best friend.... that and sleeping in a slightly lifted position so that my head its higher. Also ingesting smaller portions helps... feel better!

I'm burping up bile. Like u know when u puke and there's nothing on your stomach it tastes nasty too. And it's murdering my stomach ;'( I don't have anything and u don't have money atm to buy anything. Is there anything else besides meds

I have been living on tums and milk because of this. I also can't eat within like 2 hrs of bed or I wake up choking on the acid all night, it's horrible!

Try Pepcid AC. .. that's what my doc told me 2 try & it's OTC...
