really need advice. ..

I dont know where else to go so im going to vent here. I really need some advice from you ladies about my current situation.
I am 18 and my fiance is 21 whose from England moved down here to LA permanently. The prob is he is an immigrant after December because his visa expires. Even now he cant get a job or anythng till he gets a green card which we cant start till january. The process takes about 3-5 months. Im 32 weeks pregnant and due dates on mid November. My father cut me off economically saying that my fiance has to provide for me for everything. Hes broke and Im broke. He doesnt work. And i dont either. Its frustrating because i havent got any necessities for the baby. Not even an outfit. i cant even throw a baby shower because i dont have enough friends. (only 2). And he stopped buying groceries so technically he doesnt feed the rest of my family either because im here. I cant apply for cash aid or food stamps until my fiance gets his green card because it can affect him getting one. We have no one to help us financially. My father is such a hypocrite he told me he was gonna help with food and shelter but hes bailing on us. Im going crazy and dont know what to do. I want to breastfeed my vhild but i need to work asap after giving birth. I have never had a job before so i have no experience therefore its harder for me to get one. I cant go back to college either since i have a baby to look after and financially support. Also, I havent really ate much in the past few days either. My mom cant help because she doesnt work. My older brother is special and my little brother cant do much. Im just stuck. And i feel hopeless. We have no money and babys near. We need carseat at least so we can leave the hospital. I feel so hopeless..

You are also eligible for wic.  You could've been using wix from the moment that you got pregnant.   Go get it now because they'll provide healthy food for both you and the baby up unTil the child is 5.  They also provide formula if your child should need it.  There's no reason to bring up your fiance at all.  You're not married.

Also did you try applying for a work permit first?  Am not sure about his specific situation. But I have helped a few people file including my husband so I know a lot about immigration.

Hello,  Sorry u are going through this,  why can't you put in his papers till January? I live in Minnesota and we have several places that don't take government funds therefore can help people with out reporting it to the government. They give money, the give baby things and offer free prenatal visit. You can also try churches for food. We have several here as well. They give you food to last a month.  Have you tried looking for those because I know about not taking government assistance. They want you to be able to support your fiance till he gets a job.  The earlier you start his papers the better though.

You live in Ca state? I live here and Ca offers a lot of help. I work in a shelter for teens so if you need me to help just ask. There are shelters for pregnant mother's. Food stamps, donations for baby gear. Honestly you just need to provide a safe place for the baby. Your fiance will be able to work through the  filling process.

You said you were in la? You can apply for cash aid as well as food stamps. And it will be a emergency because you are pregnant so they will give you food stamps that same day and possible cashaid. All you have to do is say you have your own household. Do not mention your fiancee. They really don't need to know about that. So say you rent a room. And your single. Take your birth certificate. Proof of pregnancy. Id. Social security card and A letter saying you rent a room for 250 a month. Make sure you take all that paperwork so you can get aid right then and there.  You are not married so they do not count your fiancee at all. If you say you rent and live alone they just count your income and you don't have any so they will help you.

You need to take care of yourself and the baby. Your fiance should worry about getting th e green card. We if there is an extension sense you are pregnant apply for all assistance and look into shelters. What is important is your baby. Everything else will come into place over time.
