I just found out I am having a girl on Wednesday but yesterday I read about the nub theory... so i checked it with my 12 week ultrasound and that was right!

As long as you don't put any stock in the different gender predictors they are fun to try. It's a 50/50 shot right? The best way to tell what you're having is the ultrasound- and there are lots of stories of those being wrong too, lol.

I tried it, and it was right.... I'm having a boy!! The ring on the string test was wrong it said I was having a girl, and so did the Chinese calendar.

What if you don't have a line? I'm 16 weeks and see no line on my stomach.

Hey luv, I'm a first time mom as well. But I've been doing tons and tons of reading. The best way to tell the sex of the baby is to look at the dark line on your stomach. If it goes all the way up between your breast its a boy, if it fades out not to far above your belly button its definitely a girl!!! Trust me!!! I read about it before I had my ultrasound to know the sex of my baby, thinking and knowing and overly excited that I swore I was having  a girl lol, but after reading that article and looking at the line on my stomach I became overly and equally excited that I was having a boy!!  Upon arriving and having the ultrasound done, turns out it was a boy!!! The line doesn't lie lol!!!

Put a little baking soda in a cup and pee in it. If it fizzes its a boy, if it does nothing its a girl.
