doesn't matter if your water broke or not-they can break it at the hospital if it hasn't. If you're having consistent contractions n you can time them evenly apart, you should definitely go to the hospital. But if doc says the diarrhea is cause to go, then what can it hurt if u go get checked out? Obviously the MD knows something.
I also had diarrhea before labor... And during labor! Which was miserable. And very embarrassing. However when I get nervous it seems I always get diarrhea so I'm sure that contributed. But my doctor did say that sometimes the body tries to clean itself out in preparation for labor.
I had diarrhoea for a week with my first before labour started!
I'm going to wait it out thanks guys
I'd say as long as your water isn't leaking and baby is still moving and your not having contractions 3-5 minutes apart for more than an hour I'd just wait it out best of luck hope baby comes soon for you
Regardless, wait til you're having consistent contractions or your water breaks.
Some women don't get strong contractions
Best to wait til either your water breaks or you're having strong consistent contractions that are 3-5 minutes apart. They'll likely send you home otherwise. Diarrhea doesn't always mean labour is near.
I have some contractions but they more are the braxton hicks kind I just didn't want to go to the hospital and they send me back home
I wouldn't go yet. I had stomach issues off and on through both my pregnancies, and if you're not having contractions normally they don't keep you anyway, but if your Dr said go maybe they will. I still wouldn't.
