isnt it too early?

I am currently 25 weeks pregnant and I've been having contractions for the last 4 days.  They come and go and seem like BH but they are very strong and almost make me cry. Isn't it way too early for me to be going thru this? Am I going to have a premature baby?

Yes exactly . its not my first child either eljo 13 and I know all pregnancies are different but this is just not right and I know it. Regcjl I agree. My symptoms don't even match what my supposed weeks are. Thank you ladies for your helpful comments

My LMP was August 8 and I'm 37 weeks 2 days due May 15. So if your LMP was in August then you are further along.

Yes that's weird I'm 25 weeks and my last menstrual period was October 30... They should have been able to narrow it down on an ultrasound that one day of spotting shouldn't have been considered a period

Yeah do I had to fight with them to make them listen to me this is my 4th baby and we all know our own body better than anyone

Oh then I am def gonna ask them to double check on that. My symptoms and all tell me other wise. I had acid reflux two months ago and Dr couldn't even understand why, he said it was too early for that. Also lots of swelling like the kind you get at the last trimester.

Wow that seems a bit strange my lmp was aug 16 and im 36 weeks they should of done a dating scan on you by now they had taught I was less as im so small but I am just there with 27 day till due day I would defo be askin about that  hope all gies well

I feel like I'm more then 25 weeks though. My last actual menstrual period was Aug 15 of last year and it was normal. Then I spotted one day on Oct 31 and it was just an odd thing. Dr counted that as my last menstruation. My body and symptoms feel I'm further along. How do I know for sure? Maybe I am more then 25 weeks and this is actually normal

BH can sometimes be painful, I had painful BH with my 1st baby in the 2nd trimester. However it's always better to be safe than sorry I would go to l&d so you can be monitored and make sure they are BH and not contractions.

I say go to your doctor I'm going through this now  I'm 30 wks and already 4cm dilated on pills to stop labor

I starting feeling my Braxton hicks at 20 weeks with both my pregnancies. But if they are severe, you need to call your doctor. You could be at risk for preterm labor.

Yes its a lil to early Cause im now 7 months and just now starting to feel pre contractions you should call your midwife.
