what medication can I take. 5weeks pregnant?

I haven't left my bed for 2 days very sick with cold flu, and now nausea...I don't normally take medication when I'm sick unless it's extremely bad. I'm about 5 weeks pregnant had 3 nosebleeds alternating nostrils last night (which might just be due to the dry cold weather)
I also have had a weird sensation running from behind my ear and across through the back to the other ear ..I can feel it most near the right side though. then cold sensations running down or up my back.
whole body feels completely drained and I feel shaky when I try to get up to do anything. I really want to take something but am unsure what's safe for the baby...

Honey helps with lemon. Drink orange juice for vitamin C.

I would call your doctor to check with a nurse. I'm pretty sure Theraflu is OK but it's been since 3 years since I was really sick and pregnant. Things change all the time as far as safety, your Dr/nurse will know best. Most places give you a safe med list at your first appointment but I'm assuming you haven't had you first visit yet. Hang in there and try to get a lot of rest.

Take Tylenol if you have fever. Tylenol is safe in pregnancy and fever is dangerous for fetus. Nasal saline is totally safe and good if you're having nosebleeds.
