scheduled csection

I've decided to do a scheduled csection considering I had my first child that way, my mother had 3 csections, I just don't want to sit in the hospital in labor for33 hours again to find out I can't deliver vaginally. what should I expect? Is it going to be similar to the first csection?

Mine didn't have much of a wait. I just got there and they started everything.  My hospital does early registration though. I didn't think it hurt anymore in my subsequent ones.

Same long steps of waiting, checking in, epidural, or spinal. Plus its more painful if your older than you were the last tine you had one. LOL.

I had to get there like 2hrs early and they did all the prep work and then I waited for another hour before they actually brought me for surgery. I'm sure all hospitals do it different though so your wait may vary

But do you go through all the same steps? Epidural, the long wait? Or do you come right in and head to surgery?

Scheduled is much calmer and just seems easier I think. I have had three c sections the last one I finally made it til my scheduled date. Only thing I noticed was I did get a bit more anxious as the date came because I had more time to think about it.. lol.
